Payment Terms
- Bills are due within 20 days of the billing date.
- Bills are considered delinquent if any dollar amount has not been paid within 20 days of the bill date.
- A late fee will apply if payment is not received by the 25th day after the bill date:
- $5.00 or 1.5% of the cumulative balance, whichever is greater.
- Applies only to active accounts with a past due balance over $10.00.
Disconnection of Service
- Service may be disconnected if a delinquent balance remains after 45 days from the bill date.
- A service charge will be added to all accounts that have been disconnected. See the Customer Rules and Regulations for the current charge.
- Partial payments will not prevent disconnection unless prior arrangements have been made with Utilities Customer Service.
- Englewood Water District is not responsible for delays in mail delivery of bills or payments.
Restoring Service After Disconnection
If your service has been disconnected for non-payment:
- The delinquent balance, including any service charges, must be paid by 5:00 PM.
- Payments made after 5:00 PM will be processed the following business day.
- You must contact the Customer Service Department after making payment to schedule service restoration.
