For additional landscaping tips, Charlotte County residents may call (941) 764-4340 and Sarasota County residents may call (941) 861-9900 and ask to speak with a University of Florida/IFAS Extension Services Master Gardener. This person can provide you with information on sod alternatives, draught tolerant plantings, how to set your automatic timer, how to use an automatic shut-off device, and how to have a landscape that is not only attractive, but conserves water.
