GOTTLIEB B. FEHMERLING LABORATORY

The G. B. Fehmerling laboratory was dedicated in April, 1993 and named for the former Board of Supervisors Chairman.  Dr. Fehmerling was instrumental in bringing the District’s laboratory to the high standard and reputation that it enjoys today.  It is one of the few ‘small’ laboratories in the State of Florida that is certified to perform lead and copper testing.

The Environmental Protection Agency and the State of Florida have set potable water quality limits known as Primary and Secondary Drinking Water Standards.. These standards require that distributed water be analyzed to assure compliance. The water delivered by the District meets or exceeds all Primary and Secondary standards.
